TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read all of the following T&C’s, before you book a session:

Sessions will only take place if Hypnotherapy by Fennstar deems the therapy safe for the client to receive and that the client has actively chosen to receive hypnotherapy.
If you are receiving any psychiatric help/support, a letter of consent will be required from your unit before any hypnotherapy sessions can take place.
You agree to attend sessions on time, and not under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except those prescribed by your General Practitioner or any Doctor you are under the care of. Hypnotherapy by Fennstar reserves the right to terminate sessions if you show any inappropriate behaviour and refuse any further sessions.
If you are running late or anticipate running late for your session, please leave a message (calls are not answered when working with a client) or send a text to 07842 728 528. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate lost time, this is not always possible and therefore please understand that the session may have to finish at the originally scheduled finish time.
Cancellation policy and rescheduling policy requires that at least 24 hours’ notice is given, or the full session fee will be charged.
If I (Hypnotherapy by Fennstar) need to cancel our session (only in an emergency) as much notice will be given to you. If the notice is less than 24 hours, and you have paid in advance, a full refund will be given. If I have had to cancel our session, I will commit to rescheduling a new appointment at the earliest convenience of the client and myself.
Each hypnotherapy session will last between 45 and 60 minutes. Details of current fees can be found on the "Fees" tab above, or can be requested via email. I will not be able to see you for more than the 60 minutes, due to scheduling and commitments to other clients.
Session fees may be made in advance or at the end of a session. Payment methods accepted are cash and bank transfer. Bank details are available on request.
Invoices are issued on request. Invoices will be sent to clients who cancel sessions outside of the notice period (Please see 3 above).
In order to meet Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements, anonymous case histories are sometimes discussed with supervisors. Please note that no personal details are ever shared.
Hypnotherapy by Fennstar (under Mr Phillip Fennell) is registered with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and abides by all of their code of ethics. Throughout your therapy, Hypnotherapy by Fennstar will commit to acting in your best interests, to treat you with respect, including respecting your privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy requires commitment and motivation to gain the best results. Part of the progress happens in the therapy room, and part is achieved through reflection or tasks at home. As a client you will commit to engage in this process. Unless prior agreement is made, it is expected that there will not be any contact outside of sessions (unless for rescheduling or cancellation). If contact is required, it is requested to be made by email only. Please use the hypnotherapybyfennstar@outlook.com email address, for all correspondence.
A committed and motivated client is likely to achieve their realistic goals. A cure is not guaranteed, and it would not be ethical to make this claim. A guide to therapy duration and the number of sessions required will be provided at the initial consultation however this will be regularly reviewed during your therapy and any changes to this will be discussed with you. Therapy duration and number of sessions estimates are based on those provided to previous clients, however as all clients and conditions are unique these estimates are subject to change.
